About Us

Our curriculum is facilitated by talented arts educators and teaching artists who are well versed and passionate about social justice issues. Our participants are trained in various acting techniques, movement and dance, and breath and vocal work which aid in their cumulative performance of a devised piece of theatre.

Additionally, we have created opportunities to connect girls worldwide using media, who are simultaneously being taught the IGE curriculum.  This connection creates a global sisterhood of support and community.

We champion causes that are essential for girls success in school and work with partners to donate menstrual products to our participants abroad so they can stay in school.

An ensemble is a group of artists who perform together. Using the performing arts we believe that girls of the world can come together as a group which surpasses borders and is fueled by the need to create change.

Why Ensemble

Why International

Globally the rate of girls out of school is staggering for example Nigeria, Pakistan, and Ethiopia have over 1 million girls out of school collectively.* Child marriage, genital mutilation, period shaming and human trafficking are just a few examples of issues plaguing girls worldwide.
